Jim Rivas' DIRECT SALES STORY

I got started just before Christmas 2004 using OPM (Other Peoples's Money) with no prior experience in direct sales or home based businesses. I used the holidays as a time to start building my pipeline and to begin the process of mastering the marketing of this business.

I worked hard to start my business and I continue to work hard. Why? I was going to start another traditional business and chose to do this instead. I figured that if I put the effort into a home based business that I would have had to put into a traditional startup business, I should be about to achieve a much greater personal financial result. Achieving wealth is why we start businesses anyway isn't it?

What kind of results did I get in my first 30 days ... $0.00; but by the end of January 2005 I had made 8 sales ($6,000 because 2 went to my director). That was nice but I turned around and increased my advertising budget and made $18,000 in February. That too was nice. So I increased my advertising budget and in March made $57,000 (That made me the winner of the Global March Madness Contest for Phase I Sales). That was real nice. I have never made less that $46K in a month since.

I eclipsed my first $100,000 MONTH in October 2005. Wow what an industry. I continued to average $100,000 in monthly earnings between October 2005 and December 2006. In February 2006, I achieved a major mile stone, the $1,000,000 (One Million Dollars) in earnings mark. Outstanding! I did it in 14 months, working from home! 

All in all I brought in over $2,400,000 in 2 years with Emerald Passport. What a run! It was a blast, and the most satisfying part was how many people I was able to teach and help. The amazing part is that I had never done anything like networking or online businesses before.

I left Emerald Passport in February 2007 for a combination of reasons. The company was going in a direction I did not want to go. I had a much bigger vision for success for myself and my customers than where EPI was going, and wanted to be part of a community where pursuing my passion was embraced.

I was first exposed to personal development at Emerald Passport's first conference in Panama, April 2005. By embracing self improvement, I was able to achieve new heights financially and personally. After attending a personal Breakthrough seminar hosted by a speaker at the EPI event, I was free. Some internal issues were released and 2 months later, I produced my first 6 figure month, even with the chaos that Hurricane Katrina brought into my life. It was the first of 14 in a row, so naturally I solved the riddle, I had cracked the code, I had learned the secret, long before the movie came out.

My passion for teaching people and my desire to get involved with a company that had more appeal and provided more value to the masses led me to leave Emerald Passport. It's funny how life can work out, because right after I decided to move on, I learned of a ground breaking opportunity with Unlimited potential.

It was a perfect fit. While I had strongly considered opening a coaching and information marketing business, I felt like I could best help more people by integrating my mentoring with the first completely legitimate direct sales opportunity ever created.

Everything about the new opportunity is so refreshing and pure. My first week in the company  was dazzling too. I made over $55,000 in just 4 days.  Six figure months are returning; as I took in over $400,000 in just 6 months; and it's only the beginning. 

Equally as exciting as my own results, were that of 2 of my new team members, who combined grossed over $16,000 in the first week. And one of my new students even earned a whopping $54,000 his first 2 weeks, following a very simple plan. Amazingly simple big results! 

I ended my first year, where I began the year with EPI, the company Top Producer. At our Breakthrough event in November at the Grand Melia in Puerto Rico, I took top prize for sales production and also won the Nissan Pathfinder.
